In this section i will try to blog some useful stuff about my favorite OS (and no, i'm not a distribution fetishist. I'll never say "You HAVE to use it!" or "M$ sucks...". Thats far from my personal intention. Witch OS you use depends much on your own flavor and needs.
Mine ist Linux.
I spend a few Years with Red-Hat and Fedora until someday i tried Debian. Next step, because of better hardwaresupport and more "bleeding edge" packages, was Ubuntu. But someday i got tired of it and i wanted to try the next harder distro: Gentoo.
But after a few days (yes, DAYS. Not longer of testing i noticed that this is not a "all-day-system" for me. So i went out and looked for something that fits my needs. Small, fast, easy: Archlinux
Oh - and by the way:
Yes, Windows is installed onto my harddrive also. Hopefuly i'll get no headcrash when i've to boot into it because of the dusty sectors on the disk ;)
